Miracle in Cell No. 7

One of the highest grossing Korean film. The story for me is very emotional and memorable.I burst into tears for 2 hours watching this movie. Especially the scene were his father is about to die. I really can't help it. Even my 8 year old daughter sobbed and shed into tears.

This is a story about father and daughter relationship but very unusual to any normal father and daughter relationship. The father is mentally handicapped, but loves his 7 year old daughter very much, they live happily until one day his father is falsely accused of a crime for kidnapping and murder of a little girl same age of his daughter and sent to prison and given the death penalty. In prison, his father shares a jail cell with five other inmates and saves the life of his cellmate from a rival prison gang leader. So his cellmate helps him in any way he can return the favor. All he wanted is to see his daughter. The five inmates then plan to make a miracle happen. Later, his daughter who is a law school student, works to prove his innocence.

Circumstances conspire to keep them apart, but through sheer determination and the help of other prison inmates, they're able to find time to be happy together. This family changes the hardened people around them for better. It's a very manipulative and emotional movie that you can't help by cry. It's truly an amazing movie.
